A pre-term baby with complex congenital heart disease was operated upon for
construction of Blalock-Taussig (B-T) Shunt. Soon after surgery the upper
limb became blanched and cold. Despite conservative measures to improve
circulation, limb ischaemia progressively worsened and resulted in fore
quarter gangrene.
