IL Hartyanszky, T Huttl, K Kadar, E Koncz and K Lozsadi
Pediatric Department, Semmelweis University Medical School, Budapest, Hungary.

A case of congenital stenosis of the pulmonary veins and total left anomalous pulmonary venous return is reported. There was also obstruction between the left pulmonary veins and left vena cava superior. The diagnosis was based on 2-dimensional and Doppler echocardiography and was confirmed by angiocardiography. The 6-month- old baby with these anomalies was operated upon successfully. These cardiac malformations are very rare separately and their combination has not been previously reported.
