Rheumatic disease of all four heart valves is rare. We report on a patient
with quadrivalvar involvement by rheumatic disease, diagnosed
preoperatively by echocardiography, who underwent successful surgical
correction. The implications of organic involvement of the pulmonary valve
by rheumatic process is discussed.
