Giant chondrosarcoma of the anterior chest wall

A 41-year-old man had a 7-year history of a slow-growing, painless lump over the precordium. He presented when the giant lump prevented further disguise (Fig. 1a,b). After resecting a 15x15-cm segment, the chest wall defect was reconstructed with a gortex patch. Histology confirmed completely resected low-grade chondrosarcoma.
