Constrictive calcified pericarditis associated with non-treated pulmonary tuberculosis

A 47-year-old male was admitted due to shortage of breath and lower limb oedema associated with a non-treated pulmonary tuberculosis. CT scan demonstrated severe pericardial calcifications (Fig. 1) . The patient was set on tuberculostatic therapy and pericardiectomy was performed successfully.
