A 49-year-old male was thrombolyzed following an acute inferior myocardial infarction. Coronary angiography (Fig. 1) demonstrated a ‘filling defect’ in the proximal right coronary artery (RCA). Subsequent echocardiography (Fig. 2) revealed a left atrial myxoma. Excision of the myxoma and aorto-coronary saphenous vein bypass grafting of the distal RCA was performed uneventfully.
