Key Words: Pulmonary artery Stenosis Aneurysm
1. Case report
A 62-year-old woman, suffering from exertional dyspnea and chest pain with no peripheral cyanosis in childhood, was admitted to the cardiology department. Transthoracic echocardiography revealed valvular type pulmonary artery stenosis. Catheterization showed a giant post-stenotic pulmonary artery aneurysm (Fig. 1 ). An open heart surgery was advised to her, but she refused the operation.

Fig. 1. Catheterization image of the patient showing a giant post-stenotic pulmonary artery aneurysm extending to both pulmonary arteries (black arrow and arrowhead) and jet-flow inside the pulmonary artery indicating the stenosis of pulmonary artery (wide arrow). The pressure gradient across the pulmonary artery was measured to be 70 mmHg.
