Right coronary artery aneurysm: transesophageal echocardiography view

A 65-year-old man was scheduled for coronary revascularization. A coronary arteriogram revealed a three-vessel disease and right coronary artery (RCA) aneurysm. Intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) showed the RCA aneurysm before (Fig. 1) and after (Fig. 2)
the aneurysm resection was performed. In this case intraoperative TEE permitted us to verify that aneurysmectomy was correctly performed.
