Key Words: Pseudoaneurysm Bioprosthesis Mitral valve
A posterior left ventricular pseudoaneurysm was detected in a 80-year-old female patient during echocardiographic examination 3 years after mitral valve replacement with bioprosthesis. Cardiac MRI confirmed the diagnosis (Figs. 1 and 2). The patient, who is in NYHA class II, refused to be reoperated and is under follow-up with medical treatment.
