A 54-year-old man was admitted to our hospital for evaluation of a mass shadow, which had been growing. He had a history of right hemothorax from a traffic accident 30 years earlier. Chest MRI revealed a heterogeneous high-intensity tumor (Fig. 1
A and B). On operation, we found an intrathoracic hematoma with a tough capsule.
