A 38-year-old woman with persistent hiccup showed a mass in the posterior mediastinum discovered at CT scan (Fig. 1 ). A cystic lesion within the diaphragm was completely resected separating the muscular fibers (Fig. 2A) with an uneventful postoperative course. Histology confirmed the presence of a bronchogenic cyst (Fig. 2B).
