Calcified aneurysm of the left ventricle mimicking hydatid disease of the lung

A 75-year-old woman presented with congestive heart failure NYHA IV. Chest X-ray and CT revealed a calcified cystic lesion (7 cm x 5 cm) adjacent to the left ventricle (Fig. 1 ). Catheterization showed a large anterolateral left ventricular aneurysm with occluded LAD. She underwent patch exclusion of aneurysm through endoventricular route (Fig. 2 ).
